Rob Kroeger is a trainer I feel truly blessed to have met. His ability to not only understand the horse for its individuality, he is able to keep his patience and even have a chuckle at what other trainers would find "difficult" behavior. His dedication and joy in his work is evident resulting in horses with a strong foundation. The facility is in a beautiful piece of heaven with access to river crossings, bridge crossing and plenty of wooded trails. I would not only strongly recommend Rob for your horse but for his ability to help you understand your horse as well. 5 stars!

We are very grateful to Rob for the exceptional work he has done with our saddle and harness horses. We have taken a wide variety of horses and miniature horses to Rob over the years and he has exceeded our expectations with each and every one of them. He works with each horse to find a strategy that helps them to learn in a positive and caring environment. He even had our water phobic horse casually crossing the river in chest deep, cold, running water! Rob is our trainer of choice for starting young horses out of our breeding program and the first person we go to if any horse needs a refresher.

I went to Rob with a horse that I had come off twice as a result of hard spooks. The horse was unsettled by this and, as a beginner rider, my confidence was nearing zero. Rob took my horse and rode him on the numerous trails at his facility, exposing the horse to a wide range of conditions that he wouldn't get at many other training facilities. At the same time, Rob worked with me and my horse in the indoor arena and my confidence began to grow. Rob's calm and patient approach helped me to overcome my apprehensions and now the partnership between me and my horse has been restored.

It really has been a pleasure having Beamer at Wareabouts. The environment is inviting, facility is lovely, and the natural beauty is stunning - a wonderful training ground! Rob is a great trainer and has done wonders with Beamer (and myself)! He far exceeded my expectations (which were already quite high), not only training Beamer, but also incorporating me in the process. Rob is very kind and patient in his approach (with horses and humans). He goes out of his way to explain things to me and answer the many questions I always seem to have.
Educating me to learn how to properly communicate with Beamer and to understand the what/how/why/when's in his techniques has taught me so much! It's also been amazing to have the opportunity to ride Beamer around the property and down the trails through the foothills. The last few months have been extremely empowering and motivating, couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you!!

Rob is a gifted horseman. His intelligent problem solving approach yields excellent results with minimal stress to the horse and maximum effect for the time invested. He has done very well by the horses I have sent him and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Sas arrived at Wareabouts a very nervous 5-year-old Arab. She was afraid of her own shadow - puddles, streams, bogs, leaving the herd... One week of working with Rob enabled me to take her anywhere.

Rob is very knowledgeable and patient when it comes to dealing with both horses and those of us who own them. He is a true "natural horseman". I would highly recommend Rob to anyone who is looking to solve a horse problem or start a horse on the correct path.
